look the severity of the act of just embracing the opposite gender (ie. kissing, hugging, etc.) who is not permissible for you. subhanAllah, & this something we Muslims (in my opinion) take too lightly nowadays.

Something I should ponder on :'(
May Allah swt warm your hearts towards the hijab. May He swt make hijab easy on you and reward you immensely for struggling and striving for His sake.
Don’t wait until you’re not ready faith wise. When you wear the hijab, inshaAllah you will want to be a better Muslimah. Just because you now represent Islam and the whole ummah.
Do what Allah swt commanded you to do and with the right intentions and inshaAllah you will find your faith increasing.
Don’t say inshaAllah I’ll wear it in the future. How do you know you have a future?
